Plus Size Women Are Also Talented-Eno Barony Reacts To Using ‘Di Asa’ Queens At DJ Awards
Ghanaian female rapper, Eno Barony has said her decison to use the plus size queens from the ‘Di Asa’ Reality Show fame forms part of her decison to encouraage plus size women.
She told Fiifi Pratt on Highlife Paradise on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the norm by musicians has always being to use slim girls, but she felt it was about time the narrative changes.
The rapper made headlines after she came on stage at the recently held Ghana DJ Awards with the plus size queens.
She explained to the host these plus size ladies are talented and must be given the needed support to explore their creativity.
The performance has been described as an amazing one considering the dance the ladies displayed.
”I have been trying to promote that no matter your size, you can do something. When people saw them at a glance, they felt they could not dance. However, they proved to them they were creative and talented.”
