This warning was contained in a press statement read at a brief Press Conference held at the Palace last week. Reading the statement, principal Family member, Prince Nii Amu Dodoo, maintained that, the family had learnt that the Commission was plotting its Lands at Pokuase ACP in the name of Brainsfield Limited.
“The Nii Dodoo Clottey Family of Pokuase has learnt utmost with a chagrining the activities of one Brainsfield Company Limited plotting our Family’s Lands at ACP in its name, notwithstanding the High Court ruling of March 10, 2023,” the Statement contained.
It also alleged that one Yaa Boadi Agyemeng, Head of Land Registration Department is involved in these illegal activities. This, the family maintained was due to the fact that the Department had contravened its mandate of plotting lands 21 days, after its publication, and had gone ahead to do same in favour of certain unqualified individuals.
“The Family has gathered that Brainsfield Company Limited is doing this in concert with the Former Conveyance Officer of the family, a certain Nii Amu Dodoo, aka Fritz Parker and Stephen Amponsah Dodoo, who have been officially disposed off their positions by the Family.
“The Statement warned the Public against transacting any Land Business at Pokuase with Brainsfield Limited, emphasizing that whoever so, does it at his or her own peril.
Instead, all persons waning to do any Land transaction at Pokuase, should go to the Land Secretariat situated at the Pokuase Palace.
They also called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the Regional Police Commander, the Amasaman Divisional Police Commander as well as the Pokuase District Commander to hold the aforementioned people in cheek, and warn them to desist from the illegal activities of trying to grab the Nii Dodoo CLottey Family Lands.
“We make this submission as law abiding Citizens. However, we will not relent in our efforts to protect our lands by all necessary and legal means possible. So if Brainsfield continues selling the lands and there is any confrontation on our Lands, then we will blame the police. We also caution the Lands Commission that if they continue to plot our lands in the name of Brainsfield Limited, we will be compelled to take legal action against them! “The statement ended.
