Police arrest defunct Ideal Finance boss and Council of State member Kotei Dzani over GhC1m deal

The police on Wednesday arrested the CEO of defunct Ideal Finance Nii Kotei Dzani over allegations of misappropriation of some funds in his care.

Top sources within the police revealed that Dr. Dzani, who is also a member of the Council of State, was detained at the Ministries Police Station for some hours before being released on bail.

Sources say he was arrested over the misappropriation of some GHc 1,000,000.00 entrusted to him during the operation of his financial outfit.

Sources within the Police service indicate that one of the clients of his collapsed Ideal Finance may have dragged the elected member of the Council of State to the Police in an attempt to retrieve monies owed him.
