The Ghana Police Service had several meetings with organisers of today’s AriseGhana Demo and an agreement reached for a 2-Day Demo;

However, in a bizarre act of bad faith the Ghana Police tried to stop the Demo by going to Court to claim that National Security has claimed that a terrorist attack was about to happen…

National Security was used to peddle false claims of COVID-19 used to justify closure Land borders during Voters Registration and Election 2020…

Today, just like COVID-19, Russia-Ukraine War, the “National Security Terrorism Threat” is being used by the Akufo-Addo Police to attempt denying Ghanaians from exercising their Constitutional Rights to Assembly and Demonstration or Manifestations.

Fortunately, the AriseGhana leadership has been able to use the Court System that *the Police tried their politically motivated Restriction of Demonstration Time and Last-minute change of route, to bring the AriseGhana Demo back on track.

The Police Court Coup has been foiled.
