Police investigate NDC’s Mustapha Gbande for alleged inciteful comments

The  say their attention has been drawn to a statement allegedly made by Deputy General Secretary of the  Mustapha Gbande on OkayFM, an Accra-based radio station.

According to the Police, the statement seeks to incite violence during the 2024 general elections.

The Police say they have commenced investigations into the matter in line with the laws and democratic values of the country.

“The Police will continue to work with other sister  agencies diligently and patriotically to maintain the  and security in our country which has made  a beacon of hope on the continent and beyond.

“We wish to assure the public that under our watch no one will be allowed to undermine the peace, security,  and order in our beloved country,” a statement said.
