City continued to enjoy greater possession but Spurs were fiercely drilled and resilient, taking their chance when it came to double their advantage and finish the game.
Spurs sealed the day in the 65th minute after a substitution from Mourinho, Giovani lo Celso beating Ederson with a low finish from another Kane pass 35 seconds after coming on for Tanguy Ndombele.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Spurs manager, Jose Mourinho reveals that, his side is not fighting for the EPL title, but rather fighting to win every match.
