President Akufo-Addo loses Fight against Galamsey and Corruption: Punishes Ghanaians with high Tariffs, Inflation…

The suffering of Ghanaians are currently at an all-time high, thus if government wanted to cushion Ghanaians, this will be the worst time for the Electricity and Water Tariff Hike.

The recent increase in Water and Electricity Tariffs is unjustified.

The Free Water and Free Electricity and Free Food announced by President Akufo-Addo ahead of the 2020 election was a mere vote buying gimmick and had nothing to do with the COVID-19 pandemic he used as his reason for the intervention.

Immediately after winning the 2020 elections, President Akufo-Addo introduced COVID-19 LEVY and also recovered all the money allegedly spent on providing Ghanaians Free Electricity and Water.

The government added E-LEVY and now that the Ghana Cedi is in Free fall on the back of escalation in Inflation, the excruciating hardships being suffered by Ghanaians are being made to pay for the incompetence of the economic management team, the ineptitude of the Bank of Ghana and the President’s failure in his fight against Galamsey.

Joy News confirms that the cosmetic “Operation Halt” has failed, evidence from satellite images of river bodies including River Offin shows the massive destruction, pollution and ongoing Galamsey  Operations.

Many people have become rich because of Galamsey especially people close to the President because of his alleged fight against Galamsey including members of his government, his party and the security services…

The refusal of President Akufo-Addo to act on Galamsey Corruption evidence was part of why the Jubilee House is now known as the Corruption Headquarters.

President Akufo Addo has refused sack Charles Bissiu, a Presidential Staffer and Secretary to his Cabinet’s Interministerial Anti-Galamsey Taskforce caught on video collecting Galamsey Bribe at the Office of the President.

President Akufo Addo did not order any investigation and prosecution of the PartyuNuHiaSika Excavator Scandal involving Prof. Frimpong-Boateng, Chairman of  his Cabinet’s Interministerial Anti-Galamsey Taskforce who was caught on tape with Ekow Ewusi and other leading officials of government and the NPP discussing how to share Galamsey booty to enrich themselves and the ruling NPP.

The Military which is a key partner in the President’s Galamsey Gimmick, have been caught on video in the company of NPP Delta Force members by Joy News, protecting Chinese Galamseyers yet President Akufo Addo has been silent on the exposé which has attracted no investigation or prosecution.

Galamsey has led to the destruction of 82% of farmlands including Ghana’s major Cocoa cash crop according to COCOBOD.

Ghana’s Economy relies heavily on Cocoa syndicated Loan to cushion the Cedi…

Galamsey has diverted the course of many water bodies drying up rivers most of which supply the Ghana Water Company; these water bodies have been heavily polluted resulting in the very high treatment cost.

Why is President Akufo-Addo passing on the cost of treating the scarse polluted water to the poor Ghanaian consumers?

Instead of sacking the failed Finance Ministers, the inept Governor of the Bank of Ghana and remove the Vice President as head of the incompetence Economic Management Team for navigating Ghana’s Economy to Junk Status, he is passing the burden to Ghanaians.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.

All cases of corruption including the Galamsey related acts of economic sabotage must be investigated and culprits prosecuted by the Special Prosecutor especially the soldiers who are often shielded by the Military and government officials who are shielded by President Akufo-Addo.

President Akufo-Addo’s unwillingness to fight Corruption is a major reason Ghana is bankrupt.

Former Auditor General, Yao Domelevo said that “If you fight Corruption, Akufo-Addo Corruption will fight you back”.

The above is corroborated by Former Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu who categorically said that “President AkufoA-ddo is the Mother Serpent of Corruption”.

Lawyer Martin Kpebu also described the Jubilee House as a Crime Scene and said that “President Akufo-Addo is part of the corrupt gang at the Jubilee House”.

TOGETHER WE CAN fight and win against Corruption and Galamsey.
