He reminded his constituents that he’s focused on promoting development not only in his own constituency but across Gonjaland, emphasizing that the new region has much work to do in terms of infrastructure, including electricity, water, roads, and education.
The Damongo constituency MP in an interview with the media to respond to the allegations for the first time emphasized that the allegations are untrue and misleading, suggesting that those behind the video are attempting to manipulate public opinion for political gain as the elections approach. He urged voters and the broader public to critically assess the sources of such information and not to be swayed by false narratives aimed at influencing the electoral process.
He explained further how the President’s entourage took turns to greet the Yagbonwura only for the unfortunate video to pop up.
On his relationship with former President John Mahama, the MP indicated that he shares a familial connection with the NDC flagbearer and suggested that attempts to portray a strained relationship between them were part of a deliberate effort by some individuals to serve their own political interests.
