President Mahama appoints Justina Nelson as Ag. CEO of MIIF

The appointment was announced by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson to the President.

The President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has appointed Ms. Justina Nelson as the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Income and Investment Fund (MIIF).

This appointment, effective Tuesday, January 14, 2025, was made in accordance with Article 195(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 21(2) of the MIIF Act, 2018 (Act 978).

Ms. Nelson brings over 20 years of experience in the banking sector to her new role. She is currently a Group Head at Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited, where she oversees the Energy and Commercial Banking sectors.

Her academic credentials are equally impressive. She holds a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law and a Master in Business Administration (Marketing), both from the University of Ghana. Additionally, Ms. Nelson possesses a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Management and Psychology from the University of Ghana.
