President John Dramani Mahama has ordered investigations into the National Service Scheme (NSS) ghost names after clearing the arrears.
The Ghost names as detected stood at 81, 885.

A statement issued and signed by Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu said “the ghost names were detected following a head count of active NSS personnel at the behest of the Minister of Finance as prerequisite for the clearance of allowance arrears.
