Following the hack, the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) released a statement on March 18, 2025, confirming the incident and assuring the public that investigations were underway.
The CSA noted that it was collaborating with X’s security team and other relevant stakeholders to address the breach and prevent future incidents.
The hacking incident raised concerns about the security of social media accounts belonging to high-profile individuals, especially in an era where cyber threats continue to evolve.
The breach has also highlighted the importance of robust cybersecurity measures for public figures. Experts have urged political leaders and organizations to implement stronger authentication systems, regular security audits, and emergency response protocols to protect their digital assets.
