“PRINPAG’s National Executive Committee has made arrangements for dedicated lawyers to be on standby to provide legal services to members who may require such support,” the statement noted.
The association further explained that any member who is invited, arrested, or detained by any security agency in relation to their professional duties is entitled to access the Legal Support Desk for assistance.
“We encourage all members to promptly contact the PRINPAG Secretariat whenever they require legal intervention,” the statement emphasized.
PRINPAG, however, reminded its members to continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, responsibility, and ethical conduct in the discharge of their duties as media practitioners.
