School authorities within the the Dansoman Cluster of Schools are exposing the pupils to the deadly covid-19 pandemic as about 130 pupils sit in a classroom.
The pupils are 130 in a classroom contrary to President Akufo Addo’s directive for not more than 25 pupils or students in a class.
This is happening in the wake of the surge in the covid-19 cases in the country coupled with the new variant of the virus which is ravaging countries.
People have therefore wondered why the Educational directorate within that circuit would allow such dangerous circumstances thereby exposing the pupils to the covid-19.
The Pupils who spoke to TV3’s Joseph Armstrong Gold -Alorgbey in a special report , said the classroom is too congested and that they sometimes suffocate due to lack of ventilation Arising out of the congestion.
The school kids therefore appealed to the authorities to intervene and do the needful inorder to save them from their current predicament.
