Commenting on the third-year milestone of the sponsorship, QNET’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms Malou Caluza said: “The beauty of football is its accessibility to everyone. And we understand that in Africa, football is more than just a sport—it’s a unifying force like no other that brings together the different cultures of the continent. Through this partnership with CAF, we have been able to strengthen not just our brand presence in the region, which is a key market for our business, but also reinforce our commitment to our customers and distributors and share in their passion for their favourite sport.”
This partnership has provided QNET with several opportunities to engage with its customers and distributors in the last three years.

QNET distributors in Africa are provided with exclusive access to games and events and also get privileged treatment at CAF inter-club competition matches in the region. In certain cases, distributors also receive incentive trips that take them beyond the borders of the region such as the opportunity to attend the prestigious Total CAF Super Cup final match which took place in Doha, Qatar in March 2019.

QNET has hosted match-viewing parties for its distributors and representatives in many parts of the Sub Saharan Africa region, creating opportunities for community engagement events and providing them with exclusive co-branded merchandise. QNET has also received significant brand visibility at hundreds of games of all three tournaments over the past 3 years, and at related events such as the Draws ceremony and press conferences.

Commenting on this partnership, the Commercial Director of CAF, Mr. Ali Aissaoui said, “We are very grateful to QNET for being such a trusted partner during these three years of successful collaboration. Having an active football fan by our side and such a committed player on the African continent has been an invaluable contribution in our efforts to constantly improve the quality of our competitions. CAF remains enthusiastic about continuing this excellent relationship in the years to come”.

QNET’s relationship with football goes back many years. QNET has sponsored the AFC Champions League in Asia from 2010 to 2012. QNET also has an ongoing partnership with former EPL Champion Manchester City since 2014. In Malaysia, QNET is the title sponsor of PJ City FC, a super league team.
