QNET, a global direct-selling company specializing in lifestyle and wellness products, has issued a cautionary statement to Ghanaians and local businesses, warning them about fraudulent individuals and companies misusing the QNET name and logo for illegal activities. The company emphasized that Bosumtwi Industries Limited is their only authorized local business partner in Ghana.

The warning was delivered during the launch of the “QNET AGAINST SCAMS” public education and media campaign. Speaking at the event, Ramya Chandrasekaran, QNET’s Group Chief Communications Officer, highlighted the increasing misuse of the QNET brand for illicit purposes. This misuse has prompted QNET to initiate a comprehensive public education campaign aimed at raising awareness and curbing the spread of scams across the country.

“The unfortunate misuse of QNET’s name for illegal activities has become a serious concern for the company. We are implementing measures to educate and warn the public through our ‘QNET AGAINST SCAMS’ public education and media campaign,” Chandrasekaran stated.

The campaign is described as a 360-degree media and public education initiative, targeting several regions in Ghana including Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Western, Ahafo, Volta, Northern, and Bono. These regions have been identified through research as being the most affected by scams involving the QNET brand.

Chandrasekaran reiterated that Bosumtwi Industries Limited is QNET’s sole business partner in Ghana, stressing that any other company or group claiming affiliation with QNET is fraudulent.
