The items include 50 bags of rice, 10 gallons of cooking oil 50 boxes of bottled water worth.

Presenting the items to the Chief Imam Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu in his residence, Kpodo acknowledged the warm reception accorded him in the house.

According to him, “the Chief Imam, the father for all, irrespective of your tribe and religion has a huge responsibility and “it’s only fair and good as a son to support my father with these items during this period of Ramadan”.

He thanked all Muslims for praying for the nation while acknowledging the fact that, “every year our father lead Muslims to offer a special prayer for Ghana and Ghanaians”.

The Director of Communications at the office of the Chief Imam, Dr. Mohammed Marzuq Abubakar was grateful for the gift saying it was timely, relevant and Godly.

According to him, “this is the manifestation of the value of humanitarianism in our society. At all times, life is made of two classes: the haves and have nots, so it is important for those who have to share with those who do not have.

“And for him to extend his worth to those who do not have at this time, may Allah bless him,” he added.
