Originally acquired by the colonial government in 1944 as a small airstrip for World War II used by the British Royal Army, then called the Giffard Airbase…

The Accra International Airport became the name of the Airport, and the land size in the Nkrumah Acquisition was increased to 1,610 acres…

The La Stool Lands are the choicest of Prime Lands in Ghana and hosts almost all the Embassies and the Security Services in Ghana, including the Burma Camp, as well as Educational and Health facilities such as the University of Ghana and the iconic University of Ghana Medical Centre, among others…

Nii Adjei Onarnor V is the La Mantse who risked his Stool to give most of the La Stool Lands to the State for national development and deserves the International Airport in Accra, specifically on La Land, to be named after him; to become the Nii Adjei Onarnor V International Airport.

WELCOME TO THE NII ADJEI ONARNOR V INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN LA, ACCRA-GHANA.
