Residents of Awutu Bawjiase laud NDC PC over COVID-19 fight

Residents of Awutu Bawjiase including the GPRTU Driver Union have praised the NDC Awutu Senya West 2020 Parliamentary Candidate, Mrs. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui for her continuous support to the people of the Awutu Senya West constituency.

The expression of the praise was when a delegation led by the Chairman of the Awutu Bawjiase branch of the GPRTU, Isaac Baidoo called on the Parliamentary candidate to expressed their appreciations for some critical COVID-19 interventions she made to them to tackle the pandemic.

The GPRTU Chairman cited the provision of PPEs including veronica buckets, nose masks, alcohol based hand sanitizers and the public education the PC and her team provided the good people of Awutu Senya West as examples.

The drivers pledged their unflinching support for her candidature ahead of the 7th December polls.

On her part, Mrs. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui thanked the drivers for the show of appreciation, reemphasizing her commitment and that of the NDC party to the development agenda of Awutu Senya West.

“My objective is to see a healthy constituency where people are safe. The COVID 19 virus does not know political parties, it is neither NDC nor NPP oriented. We are in this together”, she said.

Mrs Tetteh-Agbotui entreated the drivers to adhere to the recommended WHO protocols by regular washing hands and using hands sanitizers as well as wearing nose masks and keeping social distance.

Reiterating her other priories, she said jobs and wealth creation is her primary focus.

Mrs Tetteh-Agbotui said she will turn the tourism potentials in the area around to make the place a tourism hub, attracting investors and tourists to that part of the country.
