A controversy has emerged in the Cape Coast North Constituency, where Dr Kwamena Minta Nyarku, the incumbent Member of Parliament, and his supporters are accused of plotting to disrupt the upcoming Astro Turf project.

The project, initiated by Hon. Horace Ekow Ewusi, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, aims to provide a state-of-the-art sports facility for the community.

Sources close to the matter allege that the NDC’s Deputy Constituency Communications Officer and personal aide to Dr Nyarku publicly expressed opposition to the project on air, inciting followers to attack contractors on-site.
