A journalist with Radio Gold in Accra, Samuel Ablordepey, has expressed interest in contesting for the Communication Officer position of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) in the Greater Accra Region.
Speaking to the media in Accra soon after submitting his completed nomination forms, Ablordepey said his decision is as a result of the breakdown of communication at the front of the region before the 2016 general elections.
He said communication is one of the integral parts of every political party that wants to progress in its quest to win power. He said communication is also used effectively to disseminate information to the people (grassroots), and to project the party.
To this effect, Ablordepey said is offering himself to contest for the position to inject better communication skills into the party front. He promised to serve the delegates with the best of service.
Though he would not list all his strategies, Ablordepey mentioned that research is very important in enriching communication outfit, and an this is what he ienteds to use to transform the Greater Accra Regional NDC towards Agenda 2020.
