The Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation, led by Apostle Kadniel E.H. Agbalenyoh, held a grand celebration of this year’s Atonement Day, known as the 20th Ethanim 6021. The observance, which took place on September 7, 2024, brought together congregants from various regions to the church’s auditorium at Homedakrom (Shalom, Shalom) off the Pokuase-Nsakina Road in the Eastern Region.
Apostle Agbalenyoh emphasized that this year’s Atonement Day held divine significance, distinguishing it from previous years. He noted that three important Sabbaths were to be commemorated: the 7th Day Sabbath, the Atonement Ceremony itself, and the End of the Jubilee Year on Ethanim, 6021.
Addressing the gathering, Apostle Agbalenyoh tasked Local Missionary Councils with overseeing their respective congregations and instructed pastors and chairmen to present Christ Jesus as the High Priest and prayer leader for the sacred occasion. The ceremony was supported by two selected pastors and deacons.
The well-attended event also served as a prelude to the upcoming Feast of Tabernacles, which is scheduled to begin on September 12, 2024, at the church premises in Shalom, Shalom.
