SHS students above 18 years old to partake in limited voter registration exercise – GES

The Ghana Education Service has granted permission to Senior High School and Senior High Technical schools (SHS/SHTS) students above age 18 to partake in the limited voter registration exercise starting from Tuesday, May 7 to Monday, May 27, 2024.

GES in an official statement dated May 6, 2024, highlighted that students have been given the opportunity to take four days off to partake in the nationwide exercise.

“The students have been granted four days off from campus effective Tuesday, May 7, 2024, to Friday, May 10, 2024, to partake in the exercise in line with the constitutional right of all Ghanaian citizens to exercise their franchise”, the statement read.
