Signs of Defeat as NPP Hires Fake Pollster to project Bawumia
Director of Research and Innovation at Kumasi Technical University linked to the NPP’s student group Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON), was responsible for disseminating these misleading survey report.
A serial caller of NPP, now styling himself as a professor/poll-star in depthless election poll report has exposed a clandestine rigging plot of the NPP ahead of the December 7th election.
The plan engineered by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to manipulate the outcome of the forthcoming 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections has been exposed following the release of the final National Security Survey named the “Post Endline Survey.”
The ‘post-end line survey,’ which followed three significant surveys executed earlier by around 400 national security personnel nationwide, allegedly indicated a landslide victory for the opposition NDC’s Flagbearer, John Mahama, and his party.
The National Security conducted four polls this year as part of their customary practice, which included the Baseline survey in February, the Midline survey in May, and the Endline survey in September, all tipping Mahama to emerge victorious.
The clandestine operation currently unfolding involves a strategy orchestrated by the NPP to tilt the election results in favor of their presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
This scheme encompasses methods such as intimidation, military coercion, and digital manipulation.
Central to this intricate plan is an initial phase of psychological manipulation aimed at persuading the Ghanaian populace that Dr. Bawumia – despite unfavorable projections in reputable polls, including estimations by the UK’s Economist Intelligence Unit – stands as a formidable contender.
This initial phase, known as the preamble, has recently gained momentum with the circulation of allegedly fabricated polls by unscrupulous actors. Notably, Prof. Smart Sarpong,
Director of Research and Innovation at Kumasi Technical University linked to the NPP’s student group Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON), was responsible for disseminating these misleading survey report.
Prof. Sarpong, who has affiliations beyond academia to the NPP including a past bid for the NPP’s Manhyia North Parliamentary ticket, has ties to Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the NPP’s Asante Regional Chairman.
Despite the apparent conflict of interest in his NPP allegiance, the party has leveraged Prof. Sarpong’s influence to shape the narrative of an impending victory for Bawumiah, diverging from other forecasts favoring the NDC’s candidate, John Mahama.
Although efforts to sway public perception through Prof. Sarpong’s dubious polls have been met with skepticism from credible fact-checkers and the public, the NPP considers his involvement pivotal to their manipulation strategy.
In view of genuine national security polls affirming Mahama’s potential win and public disdain for electoral malpractice, the NPP deems it essential to delude citizens into perceiving their success as inevitable, to facilitate the seamless execution of their agenda.
Leaked details suggest that following the manipulation of public opinion, the NPP plans to preemptively lay claim to a significant number of parliamentary seats before the Electoral Commission’s deadline on December 7.
Subsequently, the deployment of military forces aims to quell potential dissent and ensure the NPP’s victory declaration by the EC.
The orchestrated efforts by the NPP, under the leadership of the Akufo-Addo administration, exemplify a calculated and worrisome tactic aimed at undermining Ghana’s democratic process’s integrity.
