The Honourable Member of Parliament (MP) for the Sissala West Constituency, Adams Mohammed Sukparu, has been attacked by armed robbers on the Jeffisi-Gwollu Stretch of the Sissala West District.
The MP told ghananewsonline.com.gh this evening in a telephone conversation that the incident happened in the evening Friday July 23, 2021.

He said he is safe and that the matter has since been reported to the police at Gwollu, a suburb of the Constituency.

An earlier report by a Tumu based local radio station – Radford FM monitored by ghananewsonline.com.gh said the MP was attacked by unknown assailants on the Jeffisi to Bullu feeder road.

“The Member of Parliament is safe and currently at the Gwollu Police station to lodge a formal complaint. His security detail we are told shot at the alleged assailants but can’t tell what happened to them.”
