The Dormahene, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II, has issued a stern warning to the Electoral Commission (EC) to maintain fairness in this year’s elections, highlighting the seriousness of threats by the main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), not to resort to court action.

Speaking during a courtesy call by the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, to the Bono Regional House of Chiefs as part of his regional tour on its second day, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II expressed concerns about the current operations of the EC.

He urged the Commission to “sit up” and ensure credibility in the electoral process.
