Special Game Masters and Seven Stars Promotion Call on NSA Leadership

Mr. Ken Kalai, CEO of Special Game Masters, on Tuesday led the executives of the Ghana Adaptive (Para) Boxing Federation and the CEO of Seven Stars Promotion, Mr. Hurbet Kozub and his partner, Izabela Maria from Poland, to pay a courtesy call on the Ghana Sports Authority leadership.

In attendance were Hon. Seth Panwum Boyoyo – Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority; Mr. Majeed Bawah – Deputy Director; and Jeffery Owusu Ansah, the Technical Director.

Mr Hubert Kozub appealed to the authorities in Ghana to support the Federation to participate in the next world-class Para Boxing event to be held in April next year. Haven successfully held two of its kind ever in the world in Poska, Poland. He hopes to extend such exclusive international events in Ghana and across the globe.

The chairman welcomed the great and bold step recognizing of Ghana Para Boxing as an entertaining sport. He pledged his support for the Federation and stated that the government has unprecedentedly invested the highest government funds ever in Ghana sports and spread to give equal opportunity and support to all sports, mostly disability sports.

“As long as the government consents, we will ensure all sports have equal attention and government support at all levels; hence, we will ensure the Para Boxers represent Ghana and invest more in all sports as long as it unearth talents and projects Ghana to the world” he assured.

Mr. Majeed Bawah acting Director General also encouraged the Federation to work hard to ensure due process is followed to attract the government’s attention and support as well as from the corporate organizations.

Mr. Ken Kalai, CEO of Special Game Masters (SGM), who doubles as the international coordinator for Para Boxing Federation, expressed satisfaction and appreciation to the authorities for the warm knees-up accorded them and Hopes the fraternal relationship will increase to foster the sport’s growth.

Also in attendance were Tuloba Musah – Chairman,  Mr. Patrick Johnson – Federation Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Akpabli – Technical Director and his Deputy – Ahmed Mukter, Coach Daniel Lartekwei Lartey and Azumbila Asiedu as well as other staff of the National Sports Authority and Federation.
