Despite this local development, the national industrial strike declared on Monday, 16 September 2024, remains in full force.

The SSA-UDS has urged its members to remain united in support of the ongoing national action until a positive response is received from the National Executive Council of the Senior Staff Association-Universities of Ghana (SSA-UoG).

“We deeply appreciate the solidarity and commitment of our members, which has been instrumental in our progress,” Mohammed added, highlighting the collective effort of members during the strike.

SSA-UDS assured members that they will continue to provide updates on the situation as discussions with stakeholders evolve.
