Staff of NEDco on strike after colleague was butchered over illegal connection

Staff of Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDco) have reportedly abandoned their posts after a member of the revenue control unit was butchered in the head at Kobilmahagu.

The incident occurred while he was carrying out disconnection exercises on illegally connected households in the community.
