STATE OF THE NATION: Very High State of Insecurity in Ghana under Akufo-Addo
The spate of military brutalities stemming from Landguardism [Kpletso], hooliganism [Wa], cold-blooded murder in Bawku, Ejura,
President Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address focused on the Economy and Security; I will not waste any time on the Ghanaian Economy, the effect of which is felt by nearly all Ghanaians except the President, his appointees and their families…
The excruciating economic hardships Ghanaians are suffering has brought in its wake further insecurity…
Food insecurity and the insecurity of investments will lend themselves to a high crime rate, civil actions and a possible UPRISING as predicted by Akufo-Addo and confirmed by former Chief of Staff Kojo Mpiani and former National Security Coordinator Brigadier General Nunoo-Mensah.
The spate of military brutalities stemming from Landguardism [Kpletso], hooliganism [Wa], cold-blooded murder in Bawku, Ejura,
The Ayawaso West Wuogon Bye-Election Violence and the recent Ashiaman Military brutalities and kidnapping is yet another reason Brian Acheampong and other hot-headed Akufo-Addo Ministerial nominees must be disapproved…
A Minister approved by Parliament for any portfolio; say Agriculture may be reshuffled to become the Minister of Interior, National Security or Defence without any further Parliamentary intervention…
An end must be put to the deployment of gun-toting military and so-called National Security operatives like “Double” and other members of the NPP Militias namely Invisible Forces and Delta Forces…
Joe Osei-Wusu, a Deputy Speaker of Parliament said those murdered by the men in Ghana Army uniforms at Collation centres during election 2020 are criminals…
Vladimir Antwi-Danso Dean of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College and the Deputy Defence Minister blame the indiscipline of Ghanaians for the military brutalities.
How was the Kpletso Shooting and Assault by armed men in Ghana Army uniforms caused by indiscipline of Ghanaians?
The Military were clandestinely annexing the Kpletso Lands near Burma Camp…
The La Mantse Petitioned President Akufo-Addo in December 2017 through his Lands Minister and the Attorney-General as notice of a court case, but to no avail…
The La Mantse petition and the President ignoring the demands therein; became the basis for the Article 146 Petition for the removal of Justice Sophia Akuffo who paid GHc7000 for prime Cantonments State Land worth millions;
President Akufo-Addo ignore the Sophia Akuffo Article 146 Petition and the long list of La Land Looters including very high profile personalities attached to the petition.
The demand by the La Chiefs and People for the return of their Lands cannot be considered as indiscipline…
The Military annexation of La Lands and Landguardism however is illegal.
The Military’s shooting and assault of unarmed civilians is criminal.
On 16th April, 2021 the Military High Command promised to investigate the 15th April, 2021 Kpletso Shooting and Assault…
Two years on, no investigation, no report, no prosecution, no consequence…
The Kpletso Shooting and Assault by armed men in military uniforms was followed by more military impunity…
After Kpletso came Ejura, Wa, Suame, Bawku and now Ashiaman…
THE MILITARY IMPUNITY MUST STOP.
Those who ordered the deployment of gun-toting uniformed military personnel and those who commanded them to undertake these illegal criminal activities must be arrested, prosecuted and punished…
The Military High Command must confirm if they sanctioned each of these acts of impunity by the Military with the approval of the civilian political authority…
Mutineering soldiers who went on the rampage beating everybody on the streets of Wa, instead of being punished; were encouraged by the Pres ident who flew to Wa to beg the Chiefs and People to FORGIVE THE CRIMINALS IN MILITARY UNIFORMS…
Now Helicopters and armoured vehicles paid for by Ghanaians are being used by criminals in military uniforms to harass and kidnap Ghanaians.
THE MILITARY MADNESS MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY.
Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.
The Military must be restricted to their function of protecting the borders of Ghana from external aggression and never deployed among civilian population…
Only the Ghana Police Service must be used for civilian policing duties.
Police personnel numbers, equipment and training must be stepped up in accordance with Article 300 of the Constitution to enable them effectively perform their Constitutional duties without requiring military support.
GHANAIANS WILL NO LONGER ALLOW THIS MILITARY MADNESS TO BECOME THE NEW NORMAL.
