State vs Stool: Useless Ghanaian [GA] Chiefs or Thieves?
Why do State Actors steal Ga Lands and share them among family, friends, business associates, cronies and not elsewhere?
Are Some Ghanaians more Ghanaian than others?
Are Some Superior and others Inferior?

I listened to Johnnie’s Bite on TV3 [copy attached] then to Mugabe Maase on Power FM then Captain Smart and others blaming Weakness, Docility and Timidity of the Ga Chiefs and People for the stealing of Ga Lands by the Land Looters…
They may have a point especially when they make reference to some of the Chiefs who are thieves, who have been conspiring with the Looters for a share in the booty through middlemen or Goro-Boys have not been chased out or distooled.
But can you really blame the GaDangme People, the Ga People or the La People; when the State is complicit and the Law is against you, when the President ignores your Petitions, when the Army is used to brutalise your people who dare and everybody including the Media talking today had turned a deaf ear and a blind eye…
Do you recall the “Yaabi Onye” Demonstration led by the Chiefs of Accra, Prof. Atukwei Okine, Dr. K. B. Asante, Justice V. C. R. A. C. Crabbe, Dr. Joseph Aryeh, Lawyer Bright Akwetey and many notable GaDangme people and how they were stopped at the Christianborg Castle intersection with hot water cannons of the Ghana Police pouring hot water on the Chiefs and these elderly Ga Statesmen?
At the very spot Sargent Adjetey, Private Odartey Lamptey and Attipoe were gunned down in colonial time
This happened under the Fourth Republic, under President John Agyekum Kufuor…
The GaDangme Chiefs and People were heading to the Castle to present a petition dubbed the “GaDangme Burning Issues”.
THE BURNING ISSUES OF THE GADANGME included the Looting of Accra Lands, the Ada Songhor Salt and Lagoon, deliberate curbing of GaDangme Culture and Heritage, the discriminatory Language Policy that adversely affected the Ga Language being taught in Schools in Accra among others a key demand for the repeal of the obnoxious ACT2 of 1960.
ACT2 which was limited to Accra and a few places and was responsible for the phenomenon of Landguardism and haphazard building in Accra;
Their contention was that if it is such a good law it must be extended to cover all parts of Ghana so Ghanaians everywhere can enjoy the benefits of ACT2.
Why did the Asantehene declare that the new Land Law ACT 1036 is not applicable in the Ashanti Region when Samuel Abu Jinapor went to his Palace?
Why does the Government of Ghana go grovelling to some Chiefs and treat other Chiefs with other contempt?
The Kpletso Shooting and assault by the Ghana Army of unarmed journalists and citizens of La has till date been ignored by President Akufo Addo, despite the death of Adjorkor who suffered head injuries from the brutal assault by the men in Ghana Army uniforms…

What investigation has since happened to ascertain the involvement of the Ghana Armed Forces in the annexation, prosecution of Sarpong or the Oforipanin Fie?

Ghana needs a forensic audit of the Lands Commission and an independent Public Enquiry not limited to the Achimota Forest Landgrab but expanded to cover the Ghana@50 Landgrab and all State Lands and Bungalows allocated to cronies including the vexed ESI GBEDEMAH LANDGRAB…
All documentation on all the State Acquired Lands must be made public immediately for scrutiny especially as nobody trusts the government, the Ministry and Lands Commission.

The notion that government can take Lands from the Original Land Owners but must never return the lands to the Original Land Owners is Bigoted;
…unless OccupyGhana and their fellow bigots can tell Ghanaians that the government should take Ashanti, Akyem and Lands elsewhere in Ghana;
And refuse to return them to the Ashanti, Akyem or others as required by law and the Constitution just as they are proposing be done in the case of Ga Lands…

Ghanaians must defend our State Acquired Lands from the Looters, the Landguards and the Goro-Boys…
