The chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Madam Jean Mensah, has charged all its Districts and Assistant Electoral Officers to stay professional in the discharge of their duties during the December 2020 polls.
Speaking at an engagement session with the Commission’s District and Assistant Electoral officers from across the country ahead of the December polls in Accra, Jean Mensa reiterated the important role and mandate the District and Assistant Electoral officers have in ensuring a credible, transparent and peaceful election.
In an earlier development, the Commission says it is 95% done with its preparation ahead of the December polls, and is ever ready to organize a peaceful and transparent election in the upcoming election.
