Striker Emmanuel Banahene joins Saudi second-tier side Al Kawkab on loan

Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Banahene has joined Saudi Arabian Division 1 side Al Kawkab on loan from Egyptian side Ittihad of Alexandria.

Banahene is reported to have signed a six-month contract until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old is making a return to the Saudi Pro League after spending last year in the Gulf state on loan at Al-Shoulla where he scored 13 goals.

The former Berekum Chelsea player has struggled for game time at Ittihad this term.

He has made just two appearances and tallied just 19 minutes.
