DO YOU TRUST: The Lawyer, The Chief or The Chief Justice?
In a country where very few trust the President, Vice President, First and Second Ladies; it is possible that nobody trusts the Chief Justice, Chief or Lawyer too.
In a country where the two lady Chief Justices have both been embroiled in fraudulent Land transactions resulting in Article 146 Petitions for their removal, the current Chief Justice’s latest land transaction controversy requires the greatest scrutiny the Ghanaian Constitution offers.
Significantly both female Chief Justices escaped REMOVAL from office because the Presidents either refused to act on the Article 146 Petition as in the case of Akufo-Addo for Sophia Akuffo or partially acted on the Article 146 Petition as in the case of Atta-Mills for Georgina Woode.
Will Anim-Yeboah be saved IF FOUND CULPABLE IN THE BRIBERY ALLEGATION made by the lawyer or as claimed by the Chief as the stated reason for selecting the President’s Lawyer in the ELECTION PETITION chaired by the same Chief Justice?
Will President Akufo-Addo act on an Article 146 Petition for the Removal of Anim-Yeboah as Chief Justice?

THINK ABOUT IT.
Will the Council of State highjack an Article 146 Petition for the Removal of the Chief Justice as they did in the case of Justice Sophia Akuffo till she eventually retired on her 70th birthday?
THINK ABOUT IT.
The fates of Ghanaians are routinely decided by the courts headed by Chief Justices.
The verdict of the case on cases sometimes can be life transforming thus the integrity of judges especially Chief Justices must not be in question.
Chief Justices empanel judges for cases and are influential in the sanction of lawyers at the General Legal Counsel.
The Anim-Yeboah Bribery Allegation is of such high public interest that the hearing, investigation or trial must be made public by the Media Networks and cameras must be allowed not whatever forum(s) look into the matter.
Any secrecy in the adjudication of the matter will affect public acceptance of the outcome, the credibility of the stated outcome and undermine both the judicial system and the ability of Justice Anim-Yeboah to continue as Chief Justice.
The public and the media must remain open-minded and circumspect with this watershed event…
On the backs of the exposè that caught judges taking Goats, Yam and money to determine the outcome of cases, the public skepticism is understandable.
This is further worsened by the failure of Justice Sophia Akuffo to open a defence in her Article 146 Petition case which essentially made her and Justice Georgina Woode indelibly noted as part of the notorious Landguards Looters in Ghana.
The failure of President Akufo Addo to act on the Sophia Akuffo Article 146 Petition like he promptly did in the case of Charlotte Osei as EC Chairperson makes him not worthy of trust if an Article 146 is brought against Justice Anim-Yeboah.
LET’S ALL INSIST ON DUE PROCESS, since nobody is above the law.
Let’s Together Fix Ghana.
