An aspiring Parliamentary candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency, Joy Joycelyn Andoh, has donated over 4000 hand sanitizers, Hundreds of Veronica buckets, Table Stands, thousands of liquid Soaps, Hundreds of Tissues, Hundreds of waste bins and buckets, thousands of face masks to all the thirty electoral areas in the constituency.
Other areas include Tarkwa markets circle, New Atuabo lorry station and market, the Wood sellers village at Kawrekwano, Apinto Government hospital, Municipal government Hospital, the slaughter house, Association of Garages, Main GPRTU station and Bankyim station all in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency.
The astute banker and Chief Executive of JOY Foundation extended the gesture in the wake of the novel Coronavirus pandemic that has put the whole world into total dis-aray.
other communities visited include Adiewoso, Tetrem, Kyekyewere, Nwanta, Nsuaem, Simpa, Dompim, Amantin, Essaman, Benso, Subriso, Mahamo, Ningo, Benso, Brenuakyim, Esuoso, Pataho, Bonsawire, Domeabra, New Banso.
Presentation of the items were done by Madam Joy herself, together with the staff of her foundation, Polling Station Executives, also in accompaniment were sympathizers of the ruling NPP.
Special donations of the items were presented to the respective traditional authorities of every community coupled with that of those meant for the inhabitants to be situated at lorry stations and market centers.

The NPP Aspiring Parliament candidate for Tarkwa-Nsuaem entreated the opinion leaders to ensure fairness in the distribution of the hand sanitizers. He further stated that, the items were not meant for party faithfuls but rather every Ghanaian irrespective of his or her colour, age, tribe and gender since we are all fighting a common enemy which is Corona Virus.
Madam Joycelyn Andoh also admonished the people to adhere to the social distancing protocol and regular washing of hands as directed by the Ghana Health Service to avoid the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
The people were very delightful for the kind gesture done by the aspiring Parliamentary candidate who doubles as a philanthropist with special interest in the general Wellbeing of Widows, Street children, Orphans and the less privileged in the society.
The Chief of Mahamo community mentioned that it was the first time an individual has taken the initiative to provide them with those items for the fight against corona virus outbreak. He further expressed her disappointments in the current Member of Parliament who has never visited the community and its ajoining areas after he was voted for in 2016, “all attempts to reach him to attend to our needs over the past three years have been neglected” he added.
Madam Joy retorted and assured them that all hope was not lost and that better days were ahead when she is given the mandate to serve them as the member of Parliament.
