Terrifying fire outbreak at Odwana market

A ghastly fire incident broke out at the Odwana Odwana market near the Kwame Nkrumah Circle interchange in Accra.

The incident reportedly started at about 1:00 AM on Wednesday morning. It took personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service over two hours to bring the situation under control.

Aside the destructions of goods and properties of the traders in the market, there was no reported casualty as at the time of our visit.
