Thank you tour: Bedzrah kick starts appreciation tour from Abutia

The Honorable Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ho West Constituency, Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, has began touring communities in his constituency following the Easter Break from parliament.

The Lawmaker who was recently nominated into the ECOWAS parliament having secured a massive fourth term win in the 2020 general elections to continue representing the people of Ho West constituency has decided to use the holiday period to reach out to his people and appreciate and also inform them on issues in Parliament.

Having secured a 73% endorsement from popular votes in the just ended elections for his fourth term in parliament, the MP deems it appropriate to personally appreciate his constituents for the love and support extended to him over the years and also solicit their prayers as he begins yet another term.

In the company of his constituency executives, the Hon. MP began the tour from Abutia Agortive a farming community within the Abutia zone. Speaking to the massive crowed that met him, the MP expressed gratitude to the people on behalf of the National Democratic Congress and his Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the unflinching support over the years.

The MP took time to inform and educate the people on happenings in parliament over the past three months including a Private Member’s Bill that he and some five other MPs are currently working on to curb the growing advocacy for LGBTQi+ in the country.

Hon. Bedzrah also inspected an ongoing school project that he is currently supporting the community to put up with assistance from Pencils of Promise (PoP). He assured them that he will continue to serve them in all respects.

He also indicated that an electrification which he had lobbied for in 2015 and which was started in 2016 to connect communities in the area to the national grid will be completed in this fourth term.
