The Ghana Police Service and the signs of MAHAMA’s Second Coming – An Owula Mangortey observation

I am a Citizen.

I am a Whistleblower with a known face and address.

I have observed what looks like an irony sandwich in the matter of the Ghana Police Service and the signs of the Second Coming of President Mahama.

For the benefit of the Ghana Police Service I will state that most of the processes we observe ongoing around us are uni-directional or asymmetrical in time. They tend to display an arrow of time and irreversibility: cooked vegetables cannot be uncooked, spattered eggs do not reassemble.

This manifest fact about our experiences are difficult to explain to the Ghana Police Service in terms of the fundamental laws of the Second Coming of President Mahama.

So I cull for the benefit of the Ghana Police Service portions of W.B Yeats’ “The Second Coming:”

Turning and turning in the widening gyre

The falcon cannot hear the falconer;

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Mere Anarchy is loosed on the world, and everywhere

The ceremony of innocence is drowned,

The best lack conviction, while the worst

Are full of passionate intensity

Surely some revelation is at hand

Surely the Second Coming is at hand.

The Second Coming!!
