□ There is generally a certain fear in some aspirants who have underperformed according to their outward expression in terms of our contemporary constituency politics.
□ This fear has been translated into intimidation and tribalism in some notable constituencies.
● Unfortunately, we have a situation where some of those who understand better are defying the odds to satisfy few of those who are likely to fall out during the Parliamentary Primaries.
● For once, it will be great for us to contest ideas and not trade insults that has the potency to degenerate comrades in good standing hereafter.
》There will be unhappy byproducts after the NDC primaries in some constituencies especially the flash points.
》We may have to adjust the current nomenclature through impactful conflict resolution modules as it were to enable us work as a collective front after the gains and losses on Saturday the 24th of August, 2019.
◇ We have learnt a lot in our evolving democracy and it is time to exhibit LEADERSHIP in the next reorganisation phase of our dear party.
◇ Let’s assume that the ups and downs at the moment are temporal but therein is a history to revert to in the near future after the 2020 elections when stock will be taken.
■ The sociopolitical culture and interests exhibited from time to time will definitely play a big role in determining our political fate after the December 7th, 2020 general elections as well.
▪︎I recommend that we build bridges quickly with the rubbles that will come from every thick wall come 24th of August, 2019.
▪︎No one man has the repository of wisdom so I call on us to reflect, listen to ourselves and look way into the future since that can only be defined through a legitimate electoral process internally.
▪︎May the spirit of comradeship and egalitarianism be our rod and staff in the path that we have chosen.👣🤝🏾
Many thanks for your kind attention.
