Will the IGP and the Police Administration quickly confirm or deny S&A reports that the Ghana Police Service received 2400 AK 47s from the Ghana Armed Forces last week?
Police S&As report that quantities of the AK 47s were received as follows:
Wednesday, 18th March, 2020 – Six hundred (600).
Thursday, 19th March, 2020 – One thousand (1000).
Friday, 20th March, 2020 – Eight hundred (800).
According to the Police sources, ” in the past the Police received such arms consignments from GAF during a major requirement such as Elections.”
However, with National Elections some nine months away, the Police sources said, “there are whisperings in the Police Service that the 2400 AK 47s are a decoy for arming of ruling party vigilantes ahead of the December 7 Elections.”
As a Whistleblower with a known face and address, I have done my National Patriotic Duty by bringing this S&A report to whom it may concern.
