“Total Rubbish! I don’t believe you wrote this,” states Lt. Colonel Gbevlo-Lartey

At 10.11 am on 6th August 2024, Lt. Colonel Larry Gbevlo-Lartey wrote to my WhatsApp number 0557544887 the following words: “Total Rubbish! I don’t believe you wrote this.”

I guess Larry Gbevlo-Lartey was reacting to a rejoinder I wrote to a publication in his newspaper in which I, Owula Mangortey, was alleged to be a known hireling of the CDS (Lt. General Oppong-Peprah). I had challenged Gbevlo-Lartey’s newspaper to publish the name of the office where they saw my appointment letter as a hireling of the CDS, so I could go for my salary and benefits. Because President Dramani Ibn Mahama has been advising that “if they bring the money, take it and chop it, and vote against them.”

Subsequently, Gbevlo-Lartey’s newspaper published that I, Owula Mangortey, used Artificial Intelligence (AI) to fix my picture into the pictures of Military Generals taken during the handing over ceremony between Major- General Oppong-Peprah (as he then was) and Major-General Bismarck Onwona on 31st January 2024. I am still wondering why the Military High Command has not initiated action to arrest me following the bizarre revelation by Lt. Colonel Gbevlo-Lartey’s newspaper.

Gbevlo-Lartey thinks and boldly writes to me that my rejoinder is RUBBISH! Right?

As I have stated elsewhere, I have been prevailed upon by respected statements to hold my fire for now and avoid responding to the name calling by Gbevlo-Lartey’s newspaper. So, I am still holding my fire.

President Dramani Ibn Mahama had a respectful, gentlemanly chat with me on 3rd August 2024 in the inner chamber of the palace of the Bawku Naba in the presence of Mahama Ayariga, Cletus Avoka, Mumuni Bolnaba, and Kuganab-Lem.

FOR THE SAKE OF PRESIDENT DRAMANI IBN MAHAMA AND THE HIGH RESPECT HE COMMANDS, I WILL NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY TO LT. COLONEL GBEVLO-LARTEY!

Secondly, I will not respond immediately to Lt. Colonel Gbevlo-Lartey for the sake of the many young men and women who have put their hope in President Mahama and are counting on him to win the 2024 election so that they can breathe!!!

However, as I am a fair-minded Traditionalist from Shai-Osudoku, I wish to give a heads-up to President Dramani Ibn Mahama that when I am ready to respond to Lt. Colonel Larry Gbevlo, I will be touching on the following RUBBISH (taflatse) – in the words of Lt. Colonel Gbevlo-Lartey:

(1). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, I am not a failed National Security Coordinator.

(2). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, I was not sacked for gross incompetence, wanton corruption, reckless dissipation of public funds, and willfully doing an act with intent to sabotage the stability and security of the NDC government.

(3). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, no soldier can accost me and demand his share of eight (8) million dollars received from a telecommunications company.

(4). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, I do not hold any unbridled hatred against Dramani Ibn Mahama for sacking me from office, and so I don’t laugh with Dramani Ibn Mahama whilst seething with rage.

(5). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, I do not have a newspaper and surrogates who have newspapers propagating a 2028 agenda.

(6). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, I have not been to the residence and office of John Mahama since 7th January 2013.

(7). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, I do not sit in strategic/tactical meetings with Dramani ibn Mahama and facilitate a live listening in to discussions by Akufo-Addo-Bawumia officials.

(8). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, I don’t sit in strategic/tactical meetings at swept locations and go out to report and snitch on Dramani Ibn Mahama to Akufo-Addo-Bawumia officials.

(9). Unlike Gbevlo-Lartey, I am not the Quisling in Dramani Ibn Mahama’s circles whose treacherous and traitorous collaboration enables President Akufo-Addo to state with a high degree of confidence and certainty that Dramani Ibn Mahama will never become the next President of Ghana.

 

(10). I will add more RUBBISH (taflatse) when the appropriate time comes to respond to Lt. Colonel Gbevlo-Lartey
