Papa No Brouhaha: Peace Ambassador urges Tracy and Mzbel to seek Role Models

Role Models// The beef between Kumawood actress Tracey Boakye, ‘I am 16 years’ hitmaker Mzbel, actress Gloria Kani, and Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has been on in the social media for some time now with almost everyone in Ghana trying to have a bite of it. Indeed, Ghanaians have lambasted Tracey Boakye, Mzbel, and Gloria Kani for failing to display enough maturity on the issue

It is for this reason that the United Nations (UN) Eminent Peace Ambassador, Dr. Samuel Owusu, has come out to advise the key players involved in the matter on social media to use the opportunity to brand themselves for business and global acceptance. He said this would benefit them better using the situation to set trap for themselves.

Speaking in a recent interview with ghananewsonline.com.gh, Dr. Samuel Owusu observed that the four renowned Ghanain celebrities need someone, a role model who would guide them in all their endeavors – a morally cultured person to advise them on issues and how to carry themselves in the public.

“I think they really need a good role model, mentor in their life because they are too young to be exposing their wealth and character in the public domain. These social media beef could affect one’s career, destiny, and future,” he stated.

The UN Eminent Peace Ambassador also advised young girls who have started posting their nudity on social media platforms to urgently desist from such acts as it will one day affect them.

“Posting your naked pictures on social media is not a good attitude and should be condemned outright.

“What do you gain after posting your nude pictures on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms apart from exposing your immaturity to the world, it is a childlike behavior to expose your body to the public,” he said.

According to the peace ambassador, being a celebrity is seasonal. He urged the celebrities, especially the upcoming ones to learn from their senior colleagues in the industry.

“Anyone who is a celebrity should know that being a celebrity is a seasonal thing, they should rather learn from their senior colleagues and it will help them,” Dr. Samuel Owusu noted.
