Tributes pour in for late Kumawood actor Osei Tutu

I wish you didn’t leave so early breaking the entire Old Tafo constituency.But who am I to rescue you from the icy hands of death. How will Dr Likee feel now? Tutu, this isn’t fair to us.”
Tributes have begun pouring in for the late Kumawood actor Osei Tutu Nyamekese.
The late Tutu who passed on in the early hours of Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in his sleep started his acting career in the early 2000s. He became very popular through his role in action movies and appearances in the comedy skits of colleague actor Ras Nene.
The devastating news has witnessed tons of filmmakers and fans sending in their tributes to the actor who is reported to have passed away after a short illness.
The Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Vincent Ekow Assafuah described him as “a man of many characters. A man who gave hope to communities. A man who became a father, a brother, and a friend to all.”
Taking to his Facebook page, the MP said “I wish you would have lived to see all the great things Old Tafo was about to accomplish which we started together. I wish you didn’t leave so early breaking the entire Old Tafo constituency.But who am I to rescue you from the icy hands of death. How will Dr Likee feel now? Tutu, this isn’t fair to us.”
Fellow actor, Sunsum Ahuofe also added that Tutu’s death has come as a shock, especially because the actor was hale and hearty the night before. According to him, the late Tutu had recovered from an ailment some months back and had even gone to the United States of America to shoot a movie.
Dr Likee also took to social media to share a heartbreaking message to express his hurt for the demise of his colleague.
“Rest in Perfect Peace, my brother. You will always remain in my heart,” he said.
