When as far back as August 9, 2019, Ghanaian Prophet, Rev. Gershon Gbedemah, Founder, Leader and General Overseer of Havilah City of Prayer International Ministry, chose to go on the slippery path into American Politics by prophesying a one-term tenure for US President Donald Trump, little did his congregants take him seriously.
However, believing in what is in him which is greater than what is in this world, Rev. Gershon called the shots, made the prophecy, with the determination to bear the brunt of the consequences of his prophecy.
Now 15 months on, the prophecy has come to pass with the congregants wagging their tongues at this particular prophecy and many others that have come to pass. A situation that has earned him the title “Papa No” by his congregants.
This was disclosed to this medium by Henry Amo – Nyankey, Secretary to Prophecies at the church. Explaining further, Amo – Nyankey stated that Prophet Gershon made all these prophecies during his prophecy time in his all-night session at the church’s precept at Ankain in Juaboso.
TRUMP’S PROPHECIES
According to the Prophecies Secretary, the Prophet made the Trump prophecy on three occasions; the first one coming on August 9, 2019. “It is not likely that Donald Trump will be re-elected for the second time1”, he was reported to have declared.
Then, on December 30, 2019, during an all-night session, Prof Gershon was said to have proclaimed again “If care is not taken, Donald Trump will be a one-term President!!”
Again, on January 22, 2020, Prophet Gershon once more prophesied Trump’s one-term tenure. “Donald Trump is not likely to be re-elected. But I see the American election results to be very close”, Prof. Gershon intimated. Now, Joe Biden is reputed with 290 Electoral College votes with a voter population of 74 million, representing 51.7% while Trump has 214 Electoral College votes with a voter population of 70 million representing 48.8%.
Other Mind-Boggling Prophecies
Noted for his unfailing prophecies, Rev. Gershon has further in his cup certain prophecies of his which have equally dropped, after making them earlier this year, and last year.
Resignation of African Presidents
According to Amo-Nyankey, on February 27, 2020, when the church went for an all-night session, Prof. Gershon was at it again when he prophesied that a president of an African country would resign voluntarily. That African country, he said, had three colours in her national flag.
Then shortly after, the President of Madagascar resigned. Interestingly, Madagascar has three colours in its national flag – [White, Red, Green]. This was followed by the resignation of the Malian President on August 19, 2020. Mali too has three colours in its national flag – [Red, Yellow, Green].
Political Instability in La Cote d’Ivoire
On January 22, 2020, Prophet Gershonwas at it again, when he prophesied political instability in that country, Amo Nyankey hinted. “I can see political instability in La Cote d’Ivoire”. Rev. Gershon was reported to have declared. As if that was not enough, Rev. Gershon on August 14, 2020 is reported to have declared, “La Cote d’Ivoire will experience civil was as a result of elections”, Amo-Nyankey told this medium. This, he confessed, has also come to pass.
Death of Two Legendary Musicians
According to Prophecy Secretary Amo Nyankey, during an all-night session on December 20, 2020, Rev. Gershon prophesied the death of two legendary musicians in the country. And this came to pass when Kofi Bee and Nana Tuffuor passed onto glory mid this year.

Eyadema Wins Togo Elections
According to Amo-Nyankey, during an all-night prayer session on January 22, 2020, at the church’s auditorium at Juaboso, Prof. Gershon predicted, “I can see Eyadema winning Togo’s elections”.
Then, come February 24, 2020, Togo’s Faure Gnassingbe Eyadema wins Togo’s elections the fourth time, amid fraud, according to BBC reports. Eyadema thus succeeds his father after ruling Togo for 38 years – from April 14, 1967 to February 2, 2005.
The assassination of NPP MP
Mr. Henry Amo-Nyankey indicated further that on October 1, 2020, Prof. Gershon predicted the death of an NPP MP. A shot in the chest as that of murdered MP for Abuakwa South, J.B Dankwah. Then days after, October 9, 2020, NPP MP for Mfantsiman Constituency in the Central Region, Joseph Hayford Quansah gets killed by highway robbers.
