Uncovered: NDC Plots against Chief of Staff
A meeting to fashion out how to initiate the attack has been fashioned and the trigger would be pressed in the coming days.
It appears the current Chief of Staff (CoS) of Ghana, Mrs. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare has been earmarked for ferocious character assassination by some elements within the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Although, the Member of Parliament (MP) for South Dayi Constituency in Volta Region, Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor, has dragged the Chief of Staff to court over issues relating the auctioning of state assets, ghananewsonline.com.gh has gathered that there are also plans to pelt Ghana’s first female Chief of State with more mud.
Interestingly, the NDC elements leading the onslaught are relying on some persons within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to damage Mrs. Osei-Opare.
A meeting to fashion out how to initiate the attack has been fashioned and the trigger would be pressed in the coming days.
Issues such as appointments of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) would feature prominently in the attacks, we have gathered on authority.
It is instructive to know also that the Chief of Staff did not play any front role in the vetting and nominations of the MMDCEs who are currently going through verification in accordance with the laid down procedures.
Mrs. Osei-Opare is widely seen as having brought dignity to the office of the President as she has not involved herself in any scandal, unlike some of her predecessors.
