Ms Odigie-Olatayo explained that the main aim of the initiative is to build an ecosystem that would allow young women take bold steps in reaching their goals in male dominated environment.

Focusing on the media circles , she explained further that Cedar FEMME MEDIA sought the need to train young women in media production to change the male force narrative in that department.

She pointed that women constitute about 30% to 40% in media production, a situation she believes does not give room for competition and charged  participants to take advantage of technology to improve their skills,

This, Queen Reg noted would allow competition among their male counterparts so they could excel.

She therefore admonished participants to go out there and excel with the knowledge they have acquired to achieve the needed results.

The workshop brought together professionals, entrepreneurs and students. They were trained on smartphone video production and editing, video production (basic), video editing, photography production, social media content creation and drone piloting. In all about 120 participants attended the workshop
