His model of blending financial services with mentorship enabled SMEs to thrive while positioning the bank as a trusted partner, he shared.

At the event, hosted by Rev. Justice Sagoe, Captain (Rtd) Amoabeng stressed the importance of businesses prioritizing long-term growth over short-term profits. “Building sustainable institutions requires consistency, openness, and a commitment to doing the right thing, even when it’s hard,” he said.

His keynote speech also reflected on the critical role of mentorship, highlighting how UT Bank’s success was deeply tied to building strong relationships with clients and staff.

The breakfast meeting provided a platform for high-level discussions on leadership, entrepreneurship, and economic sustainability.

Amoabeng’s insights resonated with attendees, who acknowledged the importance of balancing financial performance with ethics. He also reflected on his upbringing, crediting his parents for instilling in him the values of humility and integrity, which became cornerstones of his leadership philosophy.

Rev. Justice Sagoe, the event’s convener, outlined his vision of the CEOs Breakfast Meeting as a catalyst for fostering collaboration among Ghana’s top executives.

The event also underscored the need for corporate Ghana to invest in the development of young leaders through mentorship programmes.

With its emphasis on leadership, integrity, and sustainability, the CEOs Breakfast and Networking Meeting is set to become a premier gathering for business leaders across the region.
