POSITION 4: PERSONAL ASSISTANT

A suitable candidate for this position should be able to
1. Help with time and daily management, scheduling of meeting, correspondence, note taking, answering phone calls, taking notes, scheduling meetings, emailing, texts etc.
2. Devise and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing.
3. Arrange travel, visas, and accommodation and, occasionally travelling with the head to take notes or dictation at meetings, or to provide general assistance during presentations.
4. Screen phone calls, inquiries, and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
5. Arrange Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority.
6. Organise and maintain diaries and making appointments; dealing with incoming mails, emails, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the head.
7. Take minutes and transcribe dictations
8. Carry out background research and be able to present findings.
9. Produce documents, briefing papers and present reports
10. Organize calendar, attend meetings and ensure that the head is well prepared for all activities and meetings.
11. Liaising with clients and other staff
12. Being involved in decision making process.

SKILLS
1. Organisation and time management skills
2. Computer and other technological skills
3. Good written and verbal skills
4. Attention to details
5. Zeal and enthusiasm for voluntary work

EXPERIENCE: 2 years’ secretarial and administrative experience

QUALIFICATION
Minimum: Diploma in Management and secretarial services
HND or Bachelors degree in Management and secretarial services

REMUNERATION:
Salary and stipend will be determined based on where the candidate falls within UN pay structure.

POSITION 5: FIVE (5) AREA COORDINATORS
5.1. Upper North (Savanah, Northern, North East, Upper West and Upper East)
5.2. Mid West (Bono, Ahafo, Bono East, and Ashanti regions)
5.3. Mid East (Eastern, Volta and Oti regions)
5.4. South West (Central, Western region and Western-North regions)
5.5. South East (Greater Accra region)

Suitable candidates for this voluntary positions must be able to;
1. Drive and be familiar with the area (regions) of coverage
2. Assist in the recruitment of volunteers in local area and coordinate their efforts in support of the organisation’s goals.
3. Serve as a team leader and resource for new members
4. Coordinate projects in local areas and report regularly to the commission
5. Work with little or no supervision
6. Think and make critical decisions on the spot
7. Inspire vision and arouse momentum for support for women and children

SKILLS:
1. Organisation and time management skills
2. Computer and other technological skills
3. Good written and verbal skills
4. Attention to details
5. Zeal and enthusiasm for voluntary work

EXPERIENCE:

No experiences required however, a candidate with experiences in voluntary work will have an added advantage.

QUALIFICATION
Minimum: A good Bachelor’s Degree in any field
