In a significant move to bolster Ghana’s defence governance, President John Dramani Mahama is inaugurating the newly constituted Armed Forces Council, with Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as the Chairperson.

The Council, tasked with advising the President on defence policy, military administration, and operational readiness, comprises esteemed members, including Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, Mr. Daniel Addo, Mr. Fuseini Iddrisu, and Ms. Nancy Dakwa Ampofo.
