Victory 2020: The Role of Dome/Kwabenya NDC Constituency Executives
It is a fact that the defeat of the NDC in 2016 in Dome Kwabenya Constituency was largely caused by the Constituency Executive Committee, to the extent that while the Parliamentary Candidate then Honourable Nurudeen Mohammed, was on the ground working, a Constituency Executive was on Radio castigating him.
The past Constituency Executives got divided to the point that only five out of the twenty eight Executives attend Constituency meetings.
The above has been the trend since 2008 till 2016.
I believe strongly that You can not do same old things and Expect new results.
I want to caution the Constituency Secretary Thomas Dodzi Tsoekeku and any other Executive not to copy the defeatist character of the past Executives.
Let it be known to all the Constituency Executives that any of them whose action or inaction will lead our dear Party into anything negative will not be Forgiven at all.
This time round we shall not sit down and Complain after the harm is done.
We shall act Proactively.
The Constituency Secretary issued a statement banning all Political activities in the Constituency shortly after the Constituency Parliamentary Primaries and till date he has not lifted the so called Ban even as we enter into the Election year.
Let it be known to the Constituency Executives whose actions and inactions are dividing our lovely Constituency that; When injustice becomes a law, resistance becomes a duty.
To our Parliamentary Candidate Madam Elikplim Akurugu, You are the Mother of the Constituency, We are ready to work with you for Victory 2020.
Hon Elikplim Akurugu, Kindly take note that we shall not entertain anything less than Victory and that your actions must drive all of us to that Victory land.
On our part, we are ready to work with you for the historic Victory, Kindly play your part as well.
I urge all NDC Members in our dear Dome Kwabenya Constituency to rise. Let us Mobilize and Recapture power Come December, 2020.
