Victory comes from God – Jean Mensah to Ghanaians

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean mensa, has told Ghanaians to embrace the outcome of the EC declaration because victory comes from God. She made the pronouncement while addressing Ghanaians during the declaration of the December 7 election results on December 9, 2020

“As a commission, we thank the almighty God for how far he has brought us, we recognized without a shadow of doubt that we could not have come this far without you. As the good book says, a horse is prepared for battle, but victory comes from God and we remain eternally grateful and thankful to God for the victories he has won on our behalf and they are numerous,” She said

“Its heart worming to stand before you today to declare the result of the 2020 general election, we have come so far. We started this year with hope and promise, poised to reform the core and overhaul the critical aspect of our work on the very system of which credible and transparent election are huge and here, am referring to our biometric voter management system.”

However, She declared candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the President-elect of Ghana for the 2020 elections.
